Beachfront property is at a premium, so why not live in a golf cart friendly neighborhood that has beach access? Seems smart to me for many reasons! For example, insurance tends to be lower, communities are quieter and we don’t need to jump in the car to go shorter distances!
Myrtle Beach offers a few golf cart friendly communities for you to consider when purchasing your beach home, investment property or retirement home. While these communities were not originally built for golf carts, it was definitely an after thought. Let’s list them.
Surfside Beach, South Carolina is a golf cart friendly community. There are rules and regulations with the town you’ll need to explore, but you are able to cross over Route 17 to get to the beach. You will also need to explore the parking situation in Surfside Beach on where you are able to park your golf cart.
Market Common, Myrtle Beach South Carolina is a golf cart friendly community. Golf carts are allowed throughout the community and they have access to the beach through Myrtle Beach State Park. You’ll have to explore an annual pass for access to the park, but that pass will take you oceanfront!
Barefoot Resort, Myrtle Beach South Carolina is a golf cart friendly community. You can take your golf cart to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. You can also get to the beach at Barefoot with you golf cart, you’ll have to explore parking options and they probably are not free.
Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a golf cart friendly community. Be sure not to take the cart down the main roads, but you can cross over the thoroughfares through Cherry Grove.
The other considerations are registrations, parking passes, community regulations and securing your golf cart. Look into all these elements when deciding on a golf cart friendly community in Myrtle Beach.
